MTAJI SACCO SOCIETY LTD is registered under the societies Act (Cap 490) to Offer the business of savings and credit co-operative . It was registered on October 2015. MTAJI is the Swahili word for capital or seed fund required when one is setting up a business. MEMBERSHIP: It was targeted at the informal sector members who have limited access to credit but have since been opened to even professionals.
Mtaji Staff Sacco draws its membership from the employees of forms and informed sector.
• To join the SACCO a member completes an online application form, pays a one off joining fee of Kshs. 2000 and purchases a minimal share capital of 20 shares each costing Kshs. 250 (Kshs. 5,000).

To promote and encourage thrift among its members by giving them an
opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits and provision of credit exclusively for provident and productive purposes, at fair and reasonable rate of interest; thereby enabling them to use and control their money for their mutual benefit.
